This is where the aquamagic happens. We share our magic tricks and tips on how we make our pools sparkle.

Climate & Environmental Factors Effecting Your Pool

Rainfall and evaporation are the main factors effecting your pool’s chemical usage. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to reduce the amount of rain on the Sunshine Coast and the effects it has on diluting your pool’s chemical balance and increasing the costs of running your pool.

Hot, sunny, windy days are the worst for evaporation. Such days can see up to a few centimetres drop in your pool level that will eventually need to be filled with fresh water. This dilutes the balance and increases the need to top up with salt and other chemicals. Evaporation, can be minimised by using a pool cover, saving you money on chemicals. Pool covers also save the power and time needed to run your pool as well as trapping heat, prolonging the swimming season.
